Oggi ci troviamo a parlare della Village Candle in assoluto più particolare e difficile da descrivervi in maniera oggettiva, e per farvi capire il motivo di questa mia affermazione vi lascio subito alla descrizione della fragranza: "Ricca miscela di arancio dolce, salvia fresca, limone, cannella, cremosa vaniglia, austero e sobrio legno di cedro, incenso, fava tonka e muschio".
Ecco spiegato il problema, è una fragranza eccezionalmente complessa!!
Pensate che abbiamo ben 9 oli essenziali diversi in African Safari, non mi sembra di aver mai trovato nessun'altra profumazione che ne raccogliesse così tanti, davvero sorprendente!
Il risultato di questa miscela è quindi unico e quasi impossibile da descrivere perchè i profumi in gioco sono così tanti e così diversi che creano un profumo particolarissimo.
Posso dirvi però che ho trovato tutti i profumi abbastanza equilibrati, e non c'è stato un momento in cui sia riuscito a distinguere un olio essenziale in particolare, si percepiscono tutti insieme e con un'intensità mediamente simile.
Il profumo finale dato da questo insieme mi ha convinto, forse non sarà al pari di altre Village Candle che per gusto personale ho apprezzato di più, ma ho trovato che questa, specie a confronto di altri profumi sul genere fresco, sappia catturare il sentore, l'aria, l'ambiente, il calore delle savane africane e restituircelo in un pezzetto di cera profumata.
Dovete sapere che sono un appassionato e un amante dell'Africa in tutto e per tutto: dagli aridi deserti, alla praterie, dalle savane selvagge ai mari cristallini.
Credo che questa candela sappia davvero cogliere l'essenza della savana africana, così bella e spietata al tempo stesso!
Con questo profumo così caldo, misterioso, anche un pizzico pungente ma con un sottotono dolce abbiamo in casa nostra tutte le mille sfumature e sfaccettature dell'Africa in un profumo che sa di selvaggio e libertà.
Nello specifico ho trovato che:
- L'intensità sia davvero molto alta, tanto che ho usato un cubetto ma il profumo ha riempito nel giro di poco tutta la casa. E' stata forse la Village Candle più intensa tra quelle che ho provato fino ad ora, tanto che credo proprio che anche solo metà del cubetto sarebbe stata sufficiente; la prossima volta proverò così.
- La durata nell'ambiente si è rivelata molto buona, ed il profumo è rimasto nell'aria per molte ore anche dopo aver spento la candela.
Occhio quindi all'intensità: se volete un profumo molto intenso allora nessun problema, con un cubetto andate sul sicuro, altrimenti magari riducete un po' la dose.
Non ho mai fatto un safari in Africa, ma sono stato molte volte in parchi safari in Italia: al di la del fatto che preferirei vedere tutti quegli animali in libertà, non posso negare che trovarmi a 10 centimetri da giraffe, zebre, rinoceronti, leoni, gnu e così via sia stata e sia ogni volta un'esperienza unica ed indimenticabile.
Li vedi in televisione, nei documentari, ma vederli dal vivo, sentire il loro respiro, percepire il loro forte cuore che batte, coglierne tutti gli aspetti particolari è qualche cosa che non si può descrivere e che fa sentire piccoli piccoli di fronte alla maestosità della natura.
Basta guardare questa immagine poco sotto per avere un'idea delle atmosfere che African Safari saprà creare a casa vostra..

Today we are talking about the most particular and difficult Village Candle to describe in an objective manner, and to make you understand the reason for my statement I leave immediately here the description of the fragrance: "A rich blend of sweet orange, fresh sage, lemon, cinnamon, creamy vanilla, austere and sober cedarwood, incense, tonka bean and musk. "
This explains the problem, it is an exceptionally complexfragrance!!
You can see that we have 9 different essential oils in African Safari, and I do not think I ever found a scented candle that would gather so many, really amazing!
The result of this mixture is therefore unique and almost impossible to describe because the fragrances we have here are so many and so different that create a peculiar smell.
I can tell you though that I found all the oils quite balanced, and there was not a time I could managed to distinguish an essential oil in particular; they are perceived together and with similar intensity on average.
The final scent convinced me, maybe it is not as tasy as other Village Candle I tried before I like more then this one, but I found that this, especially compared to other fresh type scents, could capture the feeling, the air, the atmosphere, the warmth of the African savannahs and return it to us in a piece of scented wax.
You should know that I am a fan and a lover of Africa in every way: from the arid deserts to the prairies, from the wild savannah to the seas crystalline.
I believe that this candle can really grasp the essence of the African savannah, so beautiful and ruthless at the same time!
With this perfume so hot, mysterious, even a bit pungent but with a sweet undertone we have in our house all the many nuances and facets of Africa in a perfume that smells of wild and freedom.
Specifically, I found that:
- The intensity is really high, so high that I used a cube but the scent filled in a short time the whole house. It was perhaps the Village Candle more intense among those who have tried so far, so much so that I think that only half of the cube would be enought; next time I'll try that way.
- The duration in the air was very good, and the smell remained in the air for several hours even after turning off the candle.
Mind the intensity: if you want a very intense aroma then no problem at all, with a cube play it safe, but if you want a softer scent you could reduce the amount.
I've never done a safari in Africa, but I have been many times in safari parks in Italy: beyond the fact that I'd rather see all those animals in the wild, I can not deny that stay 10 centimeters away from giraffes, zebras, rhinos, lions, wildebeest and so on has been and each time is a unique and unforgettable experience.
You see them on television, in documentaries, but see them, feel their breath, feel their strong heart beating, grasp any particular aspect is something that can not be described and that makes you feel small children in front of the majesty of nature.
