E siamo arrivati a parlare di Eternal, che è forse una tra le Village Candle provate più difficili da descrivere.. ma noi ci proviamo lo stesso..
La descrizione ci dice: "Bacca di vaniglia, salvia spagnola, patchouli nero e dorato legno di sandalo e note acquatiche".

E siamo arrivati a parlare di Eternal, che è forse una tra le Village Candle provate più difficili da descrivere.. ma noi ci proviamo lo stesso..
La descrizione ci dice: "Bacca di vaniglia, salvia spagnola, patchouli nero e dorato legno di sandalo e note acquatiche".
E già così potete vedere che la fragranza in oggetto si presenta piuttosto complessa, con svariati oli essenziali miscelati, il che mi rende più difficile riuscire a darvi informazioni precise.
Ad ogni modo vi posso dire che il profumo finale non è stato male; forse ho preferito di più le Village Candle recensite prima di questa, ma alla fine non mi è dispiaciuta e mi ritengo soddisfatto.
Da spenta la fragranza era molto simile ad un profumo da uomo e temevo che da accesa non mi avrebbe soddisfatto; invece, come per le altre, quando la cera ha iniziato a sciogliersi e gli oli essenziali si sono liberati nell'aria, ho potuto apprezzare la complessità e l'unicità di Eternal.
Una volta accesa il profumo ha impiegato poco tempo a diffondersi ed i vari oli essenziali sono stati più percepibili; infatti:
- La vaniglia da un tono leggermente dolce alla fragranza, che penso serva principalmente a non avere un profumo troppo forte e pungente
- Il patchouli ed il legno di sandalo si sentono ma non sono fastidiosi, e trasformano la fragranza dandole maggiore profondità oltre ad un senso di esotico e mistero
- La salvia, assieme alle due precedenti, si percepisce abbastanza ma si fonde anche con gli altri oli essenziali, pertanto non si riesce sempre ad identificare chiaramente
- Le note acquatiche si riescono a sentire bene, avvolgono tutte le precedenti e le trasformano aggiungendo un tocco ulteriore.
Il risultato complessivo è un profumo che resta molto sui profumi legnosi e sulle erbe, che ricorda un profumo da uomo, caldo e sensuale.
Alcuni potrebbero storcere il naso perchè potrebbero trovarlo troppo maschile, ma a mio avviso non può essere qualificato come un vero profumo da uomo: semplicemente la miscela degli oli sopra riportati crea nel suo complesso una fragranza calda e legnosa..
Di conseguenza se solitamente apprezzate i profumi sui toni delle erbe e dei legni, caldi, anche un pizzico pungenti, penso vi piacerà; se invece preferite quelli con note marine, leggeri, magari sul genere del pulito, fate conto che qui avete un profumo completamente differente ma non per questo dovete necessariamente scartarlo a priori.
Per quanto riguarda:
- L'intensità è stata buona, medio/alta direi, ma non fastidiosa ed il profumo ha riempito tutto il salotto, la cucina e parte del piano superiore.
- La durata piuttosto buona (anche se me la aspettavo ancora migliore), e assolutamente soddisfacente.
Chiudendo gli occhi con Eternal accesa mi sembra subito di ritrovarmi immerso tra i colori e gli odori del bosco.
Il sole è sorto da poco ed ancora fatica a filtrare tra le fronde degli alberi davanti a noi, ed i pochi raggi che riescono nell'intento penetrano come lance di luce tra i rami ed i tronchi, regalandoci un gioco continuo di luci ed ombre.
Stella, il nostro spinone nero, ci sfiora la gamba e ci passa davanti, forse attirata da uno scoiattolo o una lepre nascosta tra i cespugli poco più avanti sulla destra.
Ogni minuto che passa, come in una sinfonia d'orchestra, un nuovo suono si aggiunge al precedente, mentre il bosco poco alla volta si sveglia e prende vita..
Nell'aria il profumo delle foglie, degli alberi, e un leggero profumo di bagnato, complice la rugiada del mattino che ricopre tutto il sottobosco e la corteccia degli alberi.
L'aria è fresca e piacevole, ci accovacciamo ad accarezzare il nostro amico a quattro zampe che ci ringrazia con una bella leccata sul viso.
Poi ci alziamo e lo seguiamo mentre zampettando avanza verso il cuore del bosco..
Voto finale: 7/10

And we have to talk about Eternal, which is perhaps one of the Village Candle harder to describe .. but we are going to try anyway ..
The description says: "Berry vanilla, Spanish sage, patchouli black and golden sandalwood and aquatic notes."
And so you can already see that the fragrance in question is quite complex, with a variety of essential oils mixed, which makes me more difficult to give you accurate information.
However I can tell you that the final fragrance was not bad at all; I may have preferred more the Village Candles I reviewed before this, but in the end I am completely satisfied.
From off the fragrance was very similar to a perfume for men and I was afraid that I would not be satisfied; Instead, as the others, when the wax begins to melt and the essential oils are released into the air, I could appreciate the complexity and uniqueness of Eternal.
The scent took little time to spread and the various essential oils were more perceptible than before; In fact:
- Vanilla gives a slightly sweet to the fragrance, which I think needs primarily to not having a perfume too strong and pungent
- The patchouli and sandalwood are not annoying, and transform the fragrance giving it greater depth as well as a sense of mystery and exotic
- Sage, together with the previous two, is perceived quite but blends well with other essential oils, so you can not always identify it clearly
- The aquatic notes you can not smell well, which anyway wrap all the previous esential oils and transform them by adding a further touch.
The overall result is a scent that remains on very woody and herbal scents, which could be a reminiscent of a men's fragrance, warm and sensual.
Some of you might turn up their noses as they may find it too masculine, but in my opinion it can not be qualified as a real perfume for men: the oils mix above creates a whole a warm and woody fragrance ..
Therefore if you usually appreciate the aromas of herbs and shades of wood, warm, even a bit pungent, I think you will like it; if you prefer those with marine notes, lighter, maybe the kind of clean, you do realize that here you have a completely different scent but not necessarily you have to discard it immediatly, because you could like it anyway!
As regards:
- The intensity was good, medium / high I would say, but not annoying and the perfume filled the whole living room, the kitchen and part of the upper floor.
- The duration quite good (although I expect even better), and absolutely fine.
Closing my eyes with Eternal, it seems to me to find myself surrounded by the colors and smells of the forest.
The sun has risen recently and still struggling to filter through the trees in front of us, and the few rays that can penetrate through them like spears of light in the branches and trunks, giving a continuous play of light and shadow.
Stella, our black dog, touches us the leg and pass us, perhaps attracted by a squirrel or a rabbit hidden in the bushes just ahead on the right.
Every minute that passes, as in a symphony orchestra, a new sound is added to the previous one, while the woods gradually wakes up and comes to life ..
In the air the smell of the leaves, trees, and a slight smell of wet, thanks to morning dew covering the whole of the undergrowth and tree bark.
The air is fresh and pleasant, we crouched to stroke our four-legged friend that thanks us with a good lick on our face.
Then we get up and follow her,trotting, advancing towards the heart of the forest ..
Final judgment: 7/10
