Oggi vediamo di scoprire qualche cosa su Cozy Home, ma prima di approfondire partiamo dalla descrizione ufficiale per farci un'idea generale della fragranza: "Cannella, noce moscata e chiodi di garofano creano insieme un ambiente rilassante".
Parliamo quindi di una Village Candle a metà tra il genere fresco e quello più speziato, che quindi potrebbe accontentare gli amanti dell'uno e dell'altro genere.
Appena aperta ho subito percepito un profumo piuttosto intenso di spezie, in cui spiccavano principalmente la noce moscata e la cannella; essendo un amante delle spezie sono rimasto già da subito contento!
Poi, non riuscendo mai a trovare il momento giusto per accenderla, ho ritardato un po' ma alla fine, una sera, ce l'ho fatta e ho potuto sentirla anche da accesa.
Il profumo è stato, come per Lemon Pound Cake, intenso, anche parecchio a dire il vero, ma è rimasto non fastidioso e ben bilanciato.
Sentendola da spenta avevo un po' di timore che sarebbe stata talmente forte da dare fastidio (specie agli altri componenti della famiglia che le spezie proprio non le amano), ed invece non si sono lamentati: quindi buon segno!
Nel complesso sono stato soddisfatto, e ancora più che dalla profumazione sono rimasto colpito dal fatto che una candela (o una cialda in questo caso) così speziata fosse intensa ma non prepotente al tempo stesso; cosa rara da trovare sinceramente..
Se amate le spezie e la cucina ovviamente ve la consiglio perchè fa proprio al caso vostro, altrimenti, per gli altri che invece di solito non sono entusiasmati da cannella, chiodi di garofano e simili potrebbe essere una scoperta; calcolate però che ad ogni modo è e resta una candela molto speziata.
Un'altra particolarità, se non erro, è una leggera nota di tè che resta in secondo piano e più che altro fa da contorno a tutti gli altri oli essenziali; eppure grazie alla sua presenza le altre note speziate che altrimenti sarebbero potute risultare troppo prepotenti vengono stemperate ed il risultato finale si rivela particolare e piacevole al tempo stesso.
Io la trovo una fragranza adatta un po' a tutto l'anno ma, come spesso accade per le profumazioni più speziate, davvero indicata per il periodo autunnale ed invernale, perfetta per scaldare l'atmosfera senza appesantirla eccessivamente grazie ai diversi oli essenziali presenti; infatti, non essendo un profumo netto (non è il classico profumo di cannella, di zenzero etc) ma avendo mille sfaccettature si presta ad essere utilizzato sia in cucina per coprire eventuali odori di cibo rimasto, sia in salotto per creare quel clima caldo e gioviale.
Per quanto riguarda:
- L'intensità: è stata molto buona e anche meno di un cubetto sarebbe stato sufficiente per profumare tutto il piano, quindi eventualmente se non volete un profumo troppo carico occhio alle dosi
- La durata è stata buona, più che soddisfacente.

Ed è proprio qui che, se chiudessi gli occhi con Cozy Home accesa, mi ci vedo benissimo..
In una casa in stile un po' rustico o Shabby Chick, con il mobilio intarsiato e ricco di storia, seduto comodamente su una grande poltrona foderata di velluto bianco. Il profumo delle spezie che provengono dalla cucina, ma che pervadono tutto l'ambiente, scaldano l'atmosfera del salone, mentre fuori invece una folata di vento gelido strappa via le ultime foglie tinte di arancio dalla quercia secolare davanti alla casa, facendole volare in una pazza e vorticosa danza sempre più in alto.
E mentre ci perdiamo tra il cielo cupo e minaccioso iniziamo a sorseggiare una calda tazza di tè.
Voto finale: 7.5/10

Today, let's discover something about Cozy Home, but before we start to deepen the official description to have a general idea of the fragrance: "Cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves together create a relaxing environment."
This Village Candle is in the middle between the fresh and the more spicy type, so that could satisfy lovers of either types.
When I opened it I immediately perceived a pretty intense fragrance of spices, which featured mainly nutmeg and cinnamon; being a enthusiast of spices I was already happy!
Then I was unable to find the right time to light it up, I delayed a bit but in the end, one evening, I acheived to finally try it.
The smell was like for Lemon Pound Cake, intense, very intense to be honest, but it was not annoying or overpowering: it was well balanced.
Before lighting it up I was afraid that it would be strong enough to be annoying (especially the other members of the family who do not like spices), and instead they did not complained: it is a good sign for sure!
Overall I was satisfied, and even more that the perfume I was impressed: this candle (or wax melt in this case) was very intense and spicy but not overwhelming; which is rare to find truly ..
If you love spices and cooking scents I recommend it to you because it's right up your alley, otherwise, for others who are not usually thrilled with cinnamon, cloves and the like could be a discovery; anyway you have to know that it is and remains a very spicy candle.
Another special feature, if I am right, it is a hint of tea, which remains in the background and more than anything else it is just a backdrop to all other essential oils; yet thanks to its presence the other spicy notes result particularly pleasant.. Maybe without it this candle could have been too strong or overwhelming.
I find that this fragrance fits all year around but, as often happens with spicy fragrances, it is really suitable for autumn and winter, it is perfect to warm the atmosphere without weighing it too much thanks to the different essential oils present.
In fact, it is not only a classic spicy scent (it is not the classic scent of cinnamon, ginger etc) but having a lot of differet essential oils it could be used both in the kitchen to cover any smells of food left as in the living room to create that warm and jovial room.
If I close my eyes with Cozy Home on, I can see very well ..

The scent of spices coming from the kitchen, but that pervade the whole environment, warm atmosphere of the hall, while outside instead a gust of icy wind strips away the last leaves, which are shades of orange, from old oak tree in front of the house, making them fly in a wild and whirling dance higher and higher.
And while we get lost in the dark and threatening sky we begin to sip a hot cup of tea.
Final judgment: 7.5/10
